But surprisingly, none during supper...

We just got an actual land line last week. We'd been making do with my cell phone with TC number & Mr. Kluges's work cell phone, but in order to get internet (YAY, INTERNET!) we got a land line.

Today the world of call marketing got our number. We've gotten calls to get magazines, cable & because our "household has been selected to win a trip to Cancun" plus several nobody-there calls. All today.

Thank goodness it's possible to turn off the ringer at naptime.

When we got our number at our house, we started getting faxes... up to 20 a day, most in the middle of the night. Its a product of number reuse. Apparently the previous person to have your number liked to give it out.

Yeah, Mr. Kluges's work cell phone was previously used by somebody named Jessica... and we're pretty sure that a lot of the people who are trying to reach her are debt collectors... and once from an inmate...

Guess they shouldn't have reused that one so quickly.

God, I hate that. I don't even bother running for the phone any more. They've ruined me!
