But I have to say that's 'cuz my mom reads this blog... and I don't know if I've ever said anything around her worse than the swear word for excrement.

In other news, we relooked at a house we really liked today - saw it first at an open house on Sunday where we found out it had been on the market only a day or two - thought it was cute, underpriced, and might be just the thing for us. We saw it today with our real estate agent - she called later this evening to say it's got an offer on it already.

We'd already put it as one of our top two and were trying to decide what to do. But now the pressure's on if we want to do anything about this one. (And the other one, well, deserves a whole long post 'cuz it's got a whole lotta pros, but definitely a huge list of cons, too. Like, have you ever heard of knob and tube wiring?)

So we debated and discussed and (I at least) stressed... and then we decided to sleep on it and went out for supper to celebrate that our house is practically sold and to take our minds off it.

So, here's hoping my subconscious figures it all out for me overnight.

(Also, we're trying to figure out our schedule/plans for our MN trip, and let me tell you, it's just plain awkward because we've got so many different things at different times in different places. Like, it looks like we might have at least 2 hours on the road EVERY SINGLE DAY we're there. And that's not counting the trips to and from WI! Argh! So maybe my subconscious will work on that, too.)

Sleep! The great therapist/decider. Hope you decide what to do about the house. May you find what you need.

I know how hard it can be to decide whether or not to put in an offer... I hope sleep provides you with your answer...

Heard of knot and tube wiring- but usually in an "all the wiring had to be replaced" context...
Good luck with your deciding- and I hope we get to see you over your crazy busy MN trip.

1. the gorgeous baby girl! I think she looks like you. She's definitely got your dark locks and big eyes.

2. having sold the house (that's quite an achievement considering so short period of time and all other things happening;

We miss you all guys. Everything happend so fast that it's hard to believe we can't have you for a BBQ in our garden anymore :-(

Good luck with everything going on and hope to hear more of your news. It seems you have some news every day now :-)

Cheers,

Maryna.

Tough decisions, but it's kind of nice that you have options instead of not being able to find anything you like.

I hope we get the chance to see you while you're here!

OUr house has knob-and-tube. It's not the end of the world if you are willing to renovate and if the price allows for that. We got our house for a song due to that. A short song, at that.
