So we have an announcement to make...

I'm pregnant!

Oh wait, you already knew that.

Um, ok, how about this?

We're moving back to the States!

Yeah, that one caught you by surprise, huh? Us, too. You see, not that long ago (only a few weeks, in fact), one of Mr. Kluges' coworkers at their Wisconsin branch gave his notice... and things just kind of fell into place.

So, yeah, we're moving on from this adventure to new ones. While I'm VERY excited to be moving back to be closer to friends and family (ok, still like a 5 hour drive, but no jet lag, expensive plane tickets, or long transatlantic flight with child/ren), it sometimes seems like we just got here and are only now settling in. I'm sure I'll blog more about all this in the future, (when I've got some time to reflect someday) but for now, well, I'm kind of busy.

'Cuz you know, time frame? Crazy, abrupt, quick. Like, as in, we've got tickets to fly back on April 1st.

Yeah, I know... less than a month from now. Don't get me started stressing again or I'll never get to sleep tonight! It was a case of go SOON while I can still travel or have to wait until Baby-on-the-way is old enough to make the trip... and of course Mr. Kluges' work wants him there now as opposed to in several months.

So you'll have to forgive me if my blogging becomes a bit spotty for the next few weeks. We've got sorting and packing and planning and setting up and arranging and cancelling and goodbye-ing and all to get hussling on. And by hussle, I mean my To Do List is GI-MUNG-OUS!

(But it was really nice to do one last hurrah of touristing and travel with Pusher and Puck before putting our noses to the grindstone. Also, we didn't want to say anything while things were still getting worked out - lots of little details had to fall right for it to work. And another amusing note - it's the same area/city group in which Mr. Kluges' OLD work has a branch... so he's been there a few times between the two jobs.)

So, wish us luck with all the stuff that has to get done in the next, oh, NOT LONG AT ALL! Also, I'd take any peaceful, calm, sleepy thoughts you want to send my way around 3 am Irish time... 'cuz that's usually when I have to wake up to pee (stupid pregnancy bladder) and when the nighttime worries try to strike.

But, yay! Moving back!

Wow! It'll be great to have you back within the friendly confines of the Central Time Zone. Best of luck with all that you need to do - just remember at 3 a.m. that you've got it under control.

Holy crap!

That means two little ones around the same age, in the same time zone. So maybe while I'm hanging out eating bonbons while on maternity leave, we can actually see eachother.

Wonderful news! I've no doubt that you will get everything you need to taken care of, you are very capable and HELLO! you've moved internationally before, you are a pro at this by now. :) It will be so nice to have you back!

Huzzah!! I knew everything would work out for you to come back to the States! You're in my thoughts -- I know you can do this. My favorite new trick for falling asleep/staying asleep at night is to remind myself that it hasn't done me a lick of good to worry about anything. But a good nights sleep helps a lot. For some reason that thought never occurred to me in all the sleepless nights I've had over the years, until a few weeks ago. Let us know if you think of anything we can do to help.

And hello with the deja vu! Travelling back to the States at least part way with Mr. Huis when we were visiting was a big hustle and bustle and surprise, and now Pusher and Puck have this on the tail end of their visit. Good thing they came to see you when they did or they really would have lost the opportunity!

That is big, awesome news! Congrats. We're looking forward to having you (relatively) close again. I can't help on the loading side, but if I can help on the unloading end, let me know when you'll need help.

Hey, great suggestion Ang!

And yay to have you back! I'm sure Wisconsin is lovely and that everything will work out fine. And if there are a couple of bumps and bruises in the move, you will barely remember them come May. So not to worry. You are a strong, capable, BRAVE woman who can handle this.

OMG! Can't believe I missed this one! That is a huge hurry - and that is v. crazy-making. I know, because I left NYC for Toronto in two weeks, myself, a few years back. Good luck! We'll all understand if you're too busy to blog for the next month or three!

Ms. Huis, after watching you in action for a week I have no doubt the move is well under control, no matter what your brain seems to think is the case. You're a Superwoman. Relax, and get some sleep!
