In the past few days we've managed to...
- decide on a Christmas card & order it
- finish and order Mr. Kluges' yearly present of a photo calendar
- get the electricity upgraded
- SHOVEL OUR ENTIRE DRIVEWAY BY HAND, INCLUDING THE BUMP-OUT PART FOR BACKING OUT OF THE GARAGE. THIS WAS SHOVELING 6-8 INCHES OF HEAVY, WET SNOW, PEOPLE, AND YES, REQUIRES THE USE OF THE CAPS LOCK SO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SHOVELING HAD TO BE DONE
- find some photo frame ornaments, finally
- finish up a package and mail it off
- continue to care for, bathe, change, take to the potty, dress, and feed two small children
- keep up with the dishes now that we don't have a dishwasher, and
- finish cleaning out the rental house and have now turned in the keys
Ok, I should be taking advantage of this brief hiatus in my day while the two girls have an unexpected sleep-in. I should be unpacking, oh, excuse me, UNPACKING because there are more boxes in this house than... fleas on a dog? Pimples on a teenager? Sprinkles on a Christmas cookie? Oh, I know - candles on Methuselah's birthday cake.

I certainly hope you can get that snowblower working soon. I do not envy you having to shovel that long, long driveway.
...that's way too much shoveling. I hope today's snow doesn't have as much accumulation where you are!
When do you get your dishwasher?
No Dishwasher?!?
Wish it would snow here! A good snow like you had to get out of class for a day. *sigh* Of course, schools around here close when there is 1" (I am NOT exaggerating people!), but they never seem to close the language school.
Anyway, sounds like you need a nice hot bath in the newly recaulked tub!
My assessment of what came through here earlier was that this snow was wetter/heavier than Sunday's. It's rather warmer here today than it was on Sunday, though.
Yeah, dishwasher is on the "someday" list - prob if/when we put in a kitchen island...
Best invention ever for the dishwasherless (and those who might use baby bottles) - Target sells a small vertical metal basket that suctions to the inside of the sink and holds your scrub brush or bottle brush. Rock. On.
Have you thought of one of these as a temporary measure?
