What are you going to be for Halloween?

(And if you have kid(s), how about him/her/them?)

Pumpkin's going to be a "butterfly princess." So she'll be wearing a fancy dress from Gramma Pet along with wings, a butterfly wand, and whatever other butterfly accessories we have on hand. :) I love when she chooses something that takes more creativity than cash! :)

Penguin's going to be a dragon to match her, since, you know, she doesn't have much of a spoken opinion on all that yet. TN Great Aunt, I think you sent that one to us LONG ago when Pumpkin was tiny. Of course, lots of layers underneath for both of them before we head out T-or-Ting.

I think I'm going to pull a witch costume out of my costumes boxes, but I don't know about Mr. Kluges. I will, of course, make him at least wear something Halloween-ish, even if it's just socks.

oh yes, the dragon, glad Penguin is going to use it also, how about picture of Pumpkin back then and one of Penguin now, be cute, don't you think, and maybe fun for Pumpkin also to see

M's going to be a bee girl, unless I decide to stuff her into the monkey costume since I can't return it. We also have butterfly wings should I decide to change my mind.

I am trying to find a bee keeper type mesh hat (anyone in town have a mosquito one I can borrow)

Attila is going as a rain cloud. Maybe you've heard? ;)
I am going to carry an umbrella- though she is pretty good at telling everyone what she is.
I love the butterfly princess idea! I also love the new header- beautiful color!

Mine have received two lovely unicorn jackets from MIL that have wings. Slap on a pair of matching sweatpants and we're out the door. And warm, even!

And me - I'm going as their harried, under-medicated mother. I'll be the one carrying a bottle of cheap wine in a paper bag.

We have a variety of costumes.

Tigger, Eeyore and Pooh are the warm set.

Princess and Wizard are for at school since no 7 1/2 year old wants to be Pooh in 2nd grade.

For the adults Doughnut was a Little House on the Prairie type woman. (My grandmothers dress from 1976 she wore as a bi-centenial costume. I went as a witch.

Today I wore an orange turtleneck and black jeans. I have been told by my classmates that I "dressed up for Halloween". Pretty sad.
