#$%^*& Bitacle!!!

No time for a real post 'cuz our friends are here, but I had to warn you all about this, in case you hadn't heard about it yet.

There's a website called Bitacle that's been taking content from a TON of blogs ... here, I'll just let Mary P. from It's Not All Mary Poppins explain it 'cuz she does so more clearly than I could quickly recap.

So, please link over there and read it, then think about this...

THEY STOLE STUFF FROM ME, TOO!

Argh!

oof! Thanks for the tip- I haven't been able to find any of my stuff over there yet- but I licensed myself anyway.

Clarification from one of my commenters: if you find yourself in the 'blogs' section, that's not a problem, because they give a snippet that's linked direct to your blog. If you find yourself in the 'aggregates' section, that IS a problem, because there they used cached versions of your work. Do I understand this entirely? No, I do not. (Though thanks for the words of support!)

One of my commenters, Zero Latitude, seems to have a good hold on the concepts. (Too bad he doesn't have a blog.) And then the fellow at Plagiarism Today, he seems to know what's going on currently. As of now, Google has pulled their ads, so the site is running with no revenue. Nyah, nyah.
